The government of West Bengal has proposed to appoint Shantanu Moitra as be the brand ambassador of the Sunderbans.
Moitra, who is well-known for his compositions in Parineeta, 3 idiots, Munnabhai MBBS among several other flicks said, “I am planning a music concert in November. I have also lined up several people-nature connect programmes to highlight the importance of Sunderbans in our daily lives. I am overwhelmed by the response to my calendar on the Sunderbans. I release such calendars for mass awareness every year.”
